Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans efficiently, ensuring patient safety and quality imaging.
- Screen patients for ferrous and RF-sensitive materials, and prepare them for procedures.
- Provide clear instructions to patients and maintain accurate positioning and exposure techniques.
- Follow MedQuest policies, OSHA guidelines, and regulatory requirements to ensure safety and compliance.
- Participate in ongoing training, cross-train in additional modalities, and maintain certification.
- Build education files on interesting cases and contribute to team learning.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program; ARRT registered with advanced registry in MRI.
- Licensure: Active state licensure (where applicable), CPR certification.
- Experience: 0 years of experience as an MRI Technologist (2 years preferred).
- Skills: IV skills, strong knowledge of MRI procedures and anatomy, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
