MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for various travel assignments across the country.
Job Summary: Evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. Provide respiratory care to patients per physician orders and established policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders
- Provide respiratory care to patients per physician orders and established policies and procedures
- Participate in the development and/or implementation of patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines
- Communicate effectively with management, coworkers, facility staff, patients, patients' family members, and other caretakers
- Provide instruction to patients and other caretakers in the methods and objectives of therapy
Requirements:
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or CRTT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) credential from the NBRC
- CPR certification
- Eighteen months of respiratory care experience, preferably in a critical care setting
