Summary of Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line deskside and help desk support to MedPharm employees, including troubleshooting hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues across Windows and mobile environments.
- Assist with the maintenance and accuracy of the IT asset management system, including hardware inventory tracking, software license records, and lifecycle documentation.
- Create and update IT process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles to improve team efficiency and ensure continuity.
- Identify opportunities to streamline or improve existing IT workflows and propose solutions to the IT team.
- Design, scope, and execute a self-directed internship project in an area of personal IT interest, with guidance from the Director of IT; present project outcomes to the team at the end of the internship.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities including account provisioning, equipment setup, and asset recovery.
- Support IT team members with ad hoc requests and special projects as needed.
- Currently enrolled as a rising junior or senior at an accredited college or university, open to all majors.
- Strong interest in Information Technology, computer systems, or related technical fields.
- Basic familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and general networking concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-service orientation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive, self-starter attitude.
- Prior coursework or experience in IT, networking, computer science, or a related discipline is a plus.
