Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to grow market share across all customer segments
- Establish annual sales goals, forecasts, and performance metrics
- Identify new market opportunities, product lines, and customer segments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in restaurant, contract, and manufacturing sectors
- Personally manage high-value or strategic customer relationships
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to achieve individual and company performance goals
- Establish clear expectations, accountability, and ongoing performance feedback
- Partner with internal teams (operations, logistics, quality assurance) to deliver exceptional service
- Prospect and secure new business opportunities within targeted markets
- Collaborate on pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and proposals
- Represent the company in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
- Work closely with supply chain and operations to align product availability with customer demand
- Provide market feedback to support product development and inventory planning
- Ensure accurate sales reporting, pipeline management, and CRM utilization
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5–10 years of sales experience, preferably in foodservice, dairy, or perishable goods
- PNW foodservice experience highly desired
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Experience managing or leading a sales team
- Strong understanding of restaurant, contract foodservice, and/or manufacturing channels
- Relationship-driven with strong interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
- High level of accountability and ownership
