About the Role
MedOp Solutions is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to support a busy imaging department in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
This role is ideal for a technologist with strong hospital-based experience who is comfortable working independently during extended weekend shifts. The technologist will perform CT imaging in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and imaging protocols
- Operate GE and Siemens CT scanners
- Ensure high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis
- Prepare and position patients appropriately for procedures
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to radiation safety standards
- Accurately document procedures in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members
- Float to other areas as needed within skillset
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification required
- CT certification required
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience in a large hospital setting required
- Experience with GE and Siemens scanners required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Scheduling & Expectations
- Weekend schedule: Saturday & Sunday (7:00 AM – 11:00 PM)
- 32 hours per week
- Start Date: ASAP
- Floating: As needed
- On-Call: Available but not required
- Holiday Requirements: As needed
Orientation & Onboarding
- Up to 16 hours of non-billable orientation
- Credentials due Thursday prior to start
