What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - IMCU position at Medlinkhealth?
Reedsport, Bandon, Coquille, Myrtle Point and North Bend are all locations by Bay Area Hospital that would have options for housing with a 30 or so minute commute in. Again, there’s no traffic and would be a very scenic commute!
Hourly Pay Rate: $45.00 - $71.00/hour (This is a union position, rate will be decided on years of experience and non-negotiable)

Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care Unit IMCU
Within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, applies the nursing process to the care of patients. Teaches patients and significant others. Documents patient care in the medical record. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient.
- Able to read, write legibly, and converse effectively in the English language.

- Flexible, able to prioritize and adapt to rapidly-changing patient and unit needs.
- Demonstrates effective teaching skills.
- Responds effectively to patient crisis/emergency situations
- Proficient in use of computer, including accessing internet, word processing, and documenting in an electronic medical record system.
- Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location

Requirements
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS)
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support card or must be obtained by the last day of the month after the 6 month grace period
- Recent (within past 5 years) acute care hospital experience preferred
- Acute care hospital experience in past two years or intermediate/progressive care experience preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years experience
- 2-3 years experience in Critical Care
