Now Hiring: Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health (Mental Health)
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Position Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
A leading behavioral health facility is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to join their inpatient mental health team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, patient-centered environment with multiple shift options and strong compensation.
Compensation:
$28.90 – $41.00/hour (based on experience)
$8,000 – $12,000 sign-on bonus
Available Shifts:
Full-time day, evening, and night shifts available across:
- Youth populations
- High acuity adult units
- Older adult units
Schedules range from 32 to 36 hours per week, depending on shift and unit. Weekend and on-call requirements may apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide and coordinate nursing care in collaboration with physicians and care teams
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed
- Educate patients and families on treatment and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with policies
- Support a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff
- Supervise and guide support staff when needed
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Michigan)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- Behavioral health or related experience preferred (new grads considered)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
