Shift Notes: Day Shift 12-36 // 72 hours per two week pay period

Weekend Requirements: Possible

On Call Requirements: Possible

Hourly Pay Rate: $45.00 - $71.00/hour (This is a union position, rate will be decided on years of experience and non-negotiable)

Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, applies the nursing process to the care of patients. Teaches patients and significant others. Documents patient care in the medical record. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient.

• Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location

Submission Requirements:

• SAFE class or organization approved workplace violence training or obtain within 6 months of hire which must be obtained by the last day of the month after the 6 month grace period [PREFERRED]
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support card or obtain within 6 months of hire [PREFERRED]
• American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support or Emergency Nurses’ Association Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course card or obtain within 1 year of hire [PREFERRED]
• Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC) card for initial certification or obtain within 1 year of hire [PREFERRED]
• National certification in emergency nursing (CEN or equivalent) preferred [PREFERRED
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon [REQUIRED]
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) [REQUIRED]
• Recent emergency nurse experience [REQUIRED]
• Recent (within past 5 years) acute care hospital experience [REQUIRED]
