We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Distribution Center Operations to oversee and manage the operations of our distribution center located in Wilmer, TX. This role is critical in ensuring order fulfillment and production are completed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will plan, lead, and measure all daily processes, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and maintaining high standards for productivity, quality, inventory control, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the Distribution Center operations, ensuring order fulfillment and production are completed.
• Plan, lead, and measure all daily processes.
• Partner with HRBP to Plan, lead, and manage all human resource processes at the local facility, including staffing, performance management, compensation administration, and training and development.
• Manage and execute the financial performance of the branch or branches of responsibility.
• Ensure efficient utilization and proper return on all capital assigned to the distribution center.
• Mentor and coach the Director of Operations, providing counsel on issues and ensuring adherence to guidelines and policy.
• Provide relevant oversight, guidance, and training for specific projects that encompass all branches.
• Support contract negotiations for new business and provide timely responses to service failures and customer concerns.
• Develop and mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities, and performance management processes.
• Build and maintain employee morale and motivation, ensuring the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 10 years of experience in a distribution center environment.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Director of Operations.
• At least 5 years of management experience, with experience in sourcing and selecting supervisors, support personnel, and warehouse associates.
