What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Psychologist position at Medlin Treatment Center?
Medlin Treatment Center is a private, outpatient counseling center in metro Atlanta that specializes in the evaluation and treatment of sexual abuse survivors and perpetrators of all ages. We are currently recruiting licensed psychologists to conduct psychosexual evaluations of juveniles and adults. This position also involves providing individual and group psychotherapy to juveniles and adults who are on probation for a sex offense. There is also the opportunity to provide psychotherapy and/or psychological/forensic evaluations for children who have sexual behavior problems, as well as for individuals of all ages who have a history of sexual trauma. Ideally, we are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Have Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT), are eligible for APIT, or licensed in GA
- Have experience evaluating and treating individuals who have sexual behavior problem
This position can be remote, in person (in our metro Atlanta office) or hybrid, depending on the candidate's licensure and location. The position can be part-time or full-time. For full-time, the position includes a salary, paid time off, paid holidays, and health insurance.
