What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Professional Counselor position at Medlin Treatment Center?
Thriving group private practice in Marietta is seeking a master's or doctoral level therapist who is fully licensed in Georgia. Position requires an LPC, LCSW, LMFT or licensure as a psychologist. This position involves providing psychotherapy to children (ages 3 to 12) in the Marietta office at least two days a week as well as providing therapy via telehealth. This position requires 4 clinical days per week, including afterschool and early evening appointments. The position may also involve providing therapy to adolescent and adult clients, if the therapist is interested in this option. However, our greatest clinical need is for a therapist who can see young children, including those with a history of sexual abuse and/or sexual acting out. If interested, the position can also involve assisting in conducting psychological, sexual trauma, and/or psychosexual evaluations. Training will be provided as needed. This is a contractor position that involves dynamic pay.
Requirements
Completed masters or doctorate degree. Fully licensed in Georgia as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Psychologist.
