Position Summary
Infusion nurses perform nursing-related procedures within patient homes and in the ambulatory infusion suite in compliance with regulatory and industry standards, as well as organizational policies and procedures. The infusion nurse provides direct patient care to infusion therapy patients and is responsible for assessing actual and potential patient problems, while planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in coordination with the pharmacist.
Employment Details
- This position is classified as a W-2 employee.
- Employment is contingent upon signing a non-compete agreement as a condition of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse licensure in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care or alternate-site IV therapy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with employees, supervisors, referral sources, and patients.
- Actively providing care to patients receiving IVIG and/or Prolastin® infusions.
Preferred Qualifications
- IV Certification (e.g., CRNI) or another infusion-related certification.
