Position: Counter / Warehouse Associate
Medler Electric Company, proudly serving Michigan for over 107 years, is built on a solid foundation of exceptional customer service and deep product knowledge. As an employee-owned electrical wholesale distributor with 15 locations across the state, we support a wide range of customers, including contractors, maintenance and repair operations, manufacturers, and institutions.
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Counter / Warehouse Associate for our Lansing location. This is a key role that blends customer service with operational support. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers at the sales counter by providing knowledgeable support and accurate order processing
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, and availability
- Fulfill and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Support warehouse functions such as receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping
- Maintain organized inventory and help manage stock levels
- Ensure a clean, safe, and productive work environment
- Other general warehouse and facility tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team setting
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
- Capable of lifting/moving up to 50 lbs without restrictions
- Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and climb throughout the workday
- Previous experience in electrical distribution, warehousing, or retail counter sales is a plus
