What are the responsibilities and job description for the Branch Manager position at Medler Electric Company?
The growth of Medler Electric Company has allowed us the opportunity to realign our associates to meet the needs of our industries increasing demands. An opportunity has become available in our Battle Creek market. We are looking for a proven leader with deep knowledge of electrical supplies to manage our Battle Creek branch. The candidate will be responsible for managing the overall operations while meeting store profitability and sales goals. Sales experience and working knowledge in electrical supplies are a must. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate daily with the branch account manager and coordinate sales efforts within the branch.
- Assist in account development supervision as well as making support calls on customers when necessary.
- Encourage associate personal and educational growth within the branch.
- Perform and/or oversee direct pricing and quotation activities.
- Determine and maintain competitive inventory stock levels.
- Stay well-informed of market trends in the industry, particularly new products and competitive price situations.
- Maintain contact and friendly relationships with suppliers and customers, building a favorable company image and resolving problems and complaints as they arise.
- Insist and ensure facilities be kept clean and organized at all times.
- Display a high degree of integrity and professionalism in all interactions with Medler Electric associates, suppliers, and customers.
- Minimum 3 years in electrical distribution
SKILLS
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office.
- Continuing education required.
