Medler Electric is an employee-owned company with over 108 years of service in Michigan supplying electrical products to contractors, industrial manufacturing plants, institutional, and various other commercial customers. We are committed to providing superior service and value to our customers. We are growing and looking to expand our territory. We are currently looking to add an Account Manager to the Battle Creek, Michigan market. The candidate must have previous electrical wholesale experience along with a working knowledge of electrical products. The candidate must be a self-starter with a desire to learn and grow professionally. The candidate must also demonstrate the ability to be an effective team player. Compensation consists of salary plus commission. A vehicle and phone allowance will be provided. In addition, an expense account will be provided to help in the coordination of customer and vendor activities. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening existing customer relationships while developing new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- · Coordinate sales goals and activities with branch
- · Call on assigned accounts regularly
- · Prospect for new accounts
- · Continued education on products and sales skills
- · Keep up to date on market condition
- · Display and maintain a high degree of integrity and professionalism
Skills:
- · At least three years of electrical industry experience
- · At least one year experience selling electrical products
- · Excellent written and verbal communication skills
