What are the responsibilities and job description for the Growth Product Manager position at MEDL?
Seeking Product/Growth Manager
For a Creative Technology Studio That’s Redefining What’s Possible
About the Role....
We’re building a new product in the emerging AI attribution layer - a space focused on improving transparency, verifiability, and trust across AI systems.
As AI becomes the primary interface for how people discover information, there’s a growing need for tools that help companies ensure their data is represented accurately, consistently, and visibly across AI models.
We’re looking for a Product Manager with strong Growth instincts - someone who can take an MVP to launch, shape early customer behavior, run growth experiments, and collaborate deeply with engineering and design. You should understand AI ecosystems and structured data well enough to work closely with technical teams, without needing to be an engineer.
This is a chance to build a new category inside a company with 17 years of proven innovation.
What You’ll Do ….
Product Leadership
- Own the roadmap and execution from MVP → public launch → early traction.
- Lead discovery efforts: customer interviews, pain-point mapping, and validation.
- Design UX flows and wireframes that translate complex AI concepts into simple experiences.
- Partner with engineering on scoping, prioritization, and delivery.
Growth Marketing & User Activation
- Build and optimize onboarding flows, activation funnels, and retention loops.
- Write and iterate on product copy, landing pages, and messaging experiments.
- Run SEO tests — especially around structured data visibility and content discoverability.
- Develop early acquisition strategies (waitlists, referral loops, early partnerships).
- Shape the GTM motion and feedback loop with leadership.
Technical Collaboration
- Understand how AI models interpret data, metadata, and structured information.
- Communicate clearly with engineers about API behavior, ingestion systems, and model outputs.
- Participate in solutioning without needing to build complex technical components.
What You Bring ….
- 3–7 years in Product Management, Product Growth, or a hybrid PM/Growth role.
- Experience working on SaaS, AI-adjacent platforms, data/knowledge tools, or startup MVPs.
- Demonstrated success owning product journeys from 0→1.
- Strong UX instincts; able to produce effective wireframes and flows.
- Excellent writer - concise, persuasive, and customer-centered.
- Growth-minded: comfortable with funnels, activation, retention, SEO, and experimentation.
- Able to understand technical concepts well enough to collaborate with engineers.
- Scrappy, curious, and energized by ambiguity.
Why Join ….
- Shape a new product in the AI attribution layer - one of the fastest-emerging categories in AI.
- Work at startup speed with the support and stability of MEDL Mobile, a 17-year tech company.
- High ownership, direct impact, and visibility.
- Hybrid role based in Orange County or Phoenix.
- Competitive salary based on experience potential equity options.
