This role involves managing patient scheduling, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. If you're someone who thrives on providing excellent customer service, has a strong understanding of medical terminology, and is comfortable handling sensitive patient information, we'd love to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Manage multiple inbound/outbound phone calls daily and initiate outbound calls to patients to gather necessary information.Confirm information with doctors, update systems, and follow up with patients to ensure all necessary details are correct.Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, referrals, and authorizations.Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, appointments, and treatment information.Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when speaking to patients, especially during stressful situations.Support patients with coordination of services and communicate clearly with healthcare teams.Reach out to doctor's offices for order changes and updates.Schedule and confirm diagnostic appointments for patients with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.Provide exceptional customer service, especially when faced with tight deadlines and high call volume.Requirements/Skills:Must-Have:Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.Prior healthcare experience or knowledge of medical terminology is strongly preferred.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Compassionate, empathetic, and professional communication style.Ability to handle a high volume of calls and work independently.Strong attention to detail and administrative experience is a plus.Preferred Experience:Experience in customer service roles, particularly in healthcare, retail, or similar fields (e.g., Disney, Publix).Scheduling or front desk experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.Soft Skills:Empathy, patience, and understanding are a must.Ability to stay calm under pressure and de-escalate challenging situations with patients.Comfortable handling change, especially in processes and workflows.Professional, courteous, and strong interpersonal communication skills.Ideal Candidate:The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and compassionate professional who thrives in a team-oriented environment and enjoys helping others.
