Medical Front Desk / Patient Services RepresentativeLocation: Lone Tree, CO Pay: $19-22/ hourSchedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMJob Description:We are seeking a professional and compassionate Medical Front Desk / Patient Services Representative to support a busy cancer clinic in Lone Tree, CO. This is a short-term opportunity (6-8 weeks) ideal for someone with medical office experience who thrives in a patient-facing environment and can step in quickly to support clinic operations. Responsibilities/ Job Duties: Greet and check in patients, notify clinical staff of arrivals, and maintain a professional front desk and lobby environmentDistribute, collect, and verify patient paperwork; update demographic and insurance informationCollect co-pays and outstanding balances and provide accurate receiptsManage appointment scheduling, including cancellations, reschedules, no-shows, and coordination of outside consults and proceduresSchedule CT and PET scans once insurance authorizations are obtainedManage multi-line phones and electronic communications, routing calls and messages appropriatelyMaintain patient charts and message queues; ensure timely scanning and filing of documentationMonitor and restock office and clinical supplies while adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality regulationsMinimum Education and Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or GEDAt least 1 year of medical office or front desk experienceBenefits:Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances)Health Benefits / Dental / Vision (Medix Offers 6 different health plans: 3 Major Medical Plans, 2 Fixed Indemnity Plans (Standard and Preferred), and 1 Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) Plan.
