**MUST have ophthalmology research experience and MUST have prior management experience at a clinical research site level*

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor a team of Clinical Research Coordinators
• Oversee the execution and management of active clinical trials
• Maintain a hands-on presence on the clinical floor while providing operational leadership
• Build relationships with physicians and key stakeholders
• Develop systems and processes that support continued program growth and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and research best practices
What We're Looking For
Required:
• Retina and/ or ophthalmology research experience REQUIRED
• Proven experience managing clinical research coordinators and clinical trials
• Experience overseeing a high-volume research portfolio (currently 13 open studies with 6 additional studies in startup)
• Prior research management experience in a clinical setting
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Highly Preferred:
• Experience managing research programs in a private practice environment
• Background from a leading academic institution or research center
• Strong understanding of research compliance, regulatory requirements, and study startup processes
Program Growth Opportunity

Current State:
• 13 active studies
• 6 studies currently in startup
• Additional trial growth anticipated over the next 6 months
