What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Executive (Sales Trainee) position at Medix™?

This role is a staffing sales position, and we welcome candidates with or without prior staffing or recruiting experience. You'll have a clear path to becoming a B2B Account Executive after an initial three months of focused Recruitment training.
What You'll Do
Your journey will progress through three key phases:
Phase 1: Recruitment Fundamentals
- Learn the core Medix recruiting process.
- Identify qualified candidates using various creative methods (e.g., job boards, networking).
- Assess candidates via phone screenings, virtual interviews, skills testing, and reference checks.
- Work towards weekly quotas for these activities and resume submissions.
- Begin to generate sales leads.
Phase 2: Sales Development
- Refine your sales skills through interactive role-plays and consistent coaching.
- Shadow current account executives in client meetings to gain valuable insights.
- Actively engage in cold calling to set new meetings.
- Strategically build out your territory by identifying potential clients and prospects.
Phase 3: Medix Account Executive
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients through networking.
- Generate new sales leads and set meetings via cold calling, emails, and messaging.
- Effectively sell Medix staffing services and negotiate client contracts.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan.
- Assist in developing and managing a team of recruiters.
- Serve as the primary point of contact, resolving issues for candidates and clients.
What You'll Need
- 1-5 years of Sales Experience.
- Comfort with a heavy outbound, phone-based position.
- Proven ability to take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with visible KPIs.
- A competitive mindset and a positive, ambitious attitude.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.

LOCATION: Arlington, VA- Ballston area Hybrid Model: Monday - Thursday in office, Fridays work from home. Compensation: Base Salary Uncapped Commission and Quarterly Bonuses.
