Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Informatics Specialist to support the optimization, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of clinical information systems across our healthcare organization. This role serves as a liaison between clinical staff, IT teams, and operational leadership to improve workflows, support patient care initiatives, and maximize the effectiveness of Epic applications and related technologies.
The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse with strong clinical experience, Epic expertise, and a passion for leveraging technology to improve healthcare delivery and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to analyze, design, implement, and optimize clinical workflows within Epic and related systems
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, testing, validation, and issue resolution
- Participate in clinical informatics projects and hospital implementation initiatives
- Provide workflow analysis and recommend process improvements to enhance patient care and user experience
- Develop and deliver end-user training and support for clinical applications
- Serve as a subject matter expert for clinical documentation, order entry, and healthcare technology solutions
- Assist with change management, adoption strategies, and ongoing optimization efforts
- Maintain compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and patient privacy requirements
- Support data integrity, reporting initiatives, and system governance activities
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical healthcare experience
- Minimum of 2 years of Epic experience
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical informatics experience
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Epic hospital implementations
- Epic certification(s) preferred
- Experience with workflow optimization, training, and system adoption initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Informatics, or related field preferred
Salary : $50 - $55
