Inventory Control Coordinator

To continue our mission of serving our customers, we are looking for an experienced Inventory Control Coordinator to join our team.
The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for managing, monitoring, and reconciling inventory levels across multiple locations. This role ensures accurate tracking of materials, supports manufacturing production with inventory insights, and implements processes to reduce discrepancies and optimize inventory performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records in MRP system.
- Perform daily cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain the accuracy of balance on handy by properly tracking material movement.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
- Assist in unit shortage reporting.
- Assist in determining the disposition of rejected material and complete necessary paperwork for returnable goods and credits.
- Collaborate with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams to resolve material issues, shortages, minimize obsolescence and excess inventory.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or related roles.
- Knowledge of a closed-loop MRP system in a manufacturing environment.
- Attention to detail is required with strong numerical and data entry accuracy.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organization skills.
- Ability to work independently or with a cross-functional team.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
