Job Overview
The Mailroom Pharmacy Technician supports MediVera’s daily shipping and fulfillment operations by preparing, packaging, and processing prescriptions for delivery. This role plays a key part in ensuring patients receive medications accurately, safely, and on time. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a positive, team-oriented approach.
This is an entry-level pharmacy technician role. Candidates must obtain a pharmacy technician license (MediVera provides support for certification).
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and package prescriptions and compounded medications for shipment with accuracy and care, demonstrating pride in everything you do and commitment to patient safety.
- Verify labeling, product information, and paperwork before final packaging to ensure compliance and prevent errors.
- Working your hardest to process outgoing orders, print shipping labels, and coordinate carrier pickups to support efficient and timely delivery.
- Work collaboratively with the Customer Service and Lab teams to ensure orders are completed on schedule, reflecting positive team spirit and respect for all.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following established SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in receiving and organizing shipping supplies and inventory to support efficient workflow.
- Help identify process improvements and contribute to ongoing system and service enhancements, reflecting a growth mindset.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with coworkers and leadership while supporting a fun, fast-paced, and productive team environment.
- Uphold MediVera’s standards of professionalism, safety, confidentiality, and compliance at all times.
Attributes & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Pharmacy technician license required (testing support and assistance provided upon hiring).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive workflow.
- Ability to work independently and within a team, demonstrating reliable work ethic and a high level of respect for others.
- Comfortable using computers, printers, and basic shipping/fulfillment software.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize workload.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and handle physical tasks associated with shipping and receiving.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 48.0 per week
