The IT System Coordinator is responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing the organization’s internal IT infrastructure and services. This role ensures the stability, performance, and security of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments while providing multi-tiered technical support to global users. The coordinator manages system provisioning, networking, and automation through scripting, and collaborates closely with security and cross-functional teams to uphold compliance and operational excellence.

Job Overview
The IT System Coordinator is responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing the organization’s internal IT infrastructure and services. This role ensures the stability, performance, and security of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments while providing multi-tiered technical support to global users. The coordinator manages system provisioning, networking, and automation through scripting, and collaborates closely with security and cross-functional teams to uphold compliance and operational excellence.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Monitor and maintain virtual infrastructure in Azure.
- Support networking infrastructure, including Point-to-Site and Site-to-Site VPN configurations.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce compliance and respond to security incidents.
- Provide Tier 1–3 support for internal users across global offices through our Jira ticketing system.
- Manage device provisioning, software deployment, and remote access solutions.
- Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Power Automate) for automation and reporting.
- Implement and manage monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve system issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customer Support, Finance, and Engineering.
- Experience as a System Administrator or similar role in a mid-to-large enterprise.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies (Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, etc.).
- Experience with networking concepts, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and automation tools (PowerShell, Python, Power Automate, etc.).
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Fluency in English (Swedish and French are advantageous).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- CompTIA Security or equivalent
- ITIL Foundation
