The main purpose of the Controlled Substance Administrator's position is to review, pick and pack-controlled substances sales orders as well as maintain records and inventory in accordance with DEA regulations.
The location is based in Texas.
The position is onsite.
The Opportunity
Responsibilities:
Prepare Orders for Controlled Substances
- Perform due diligence to authenticate controlled substance orders.
- Conduct any phone calls or investigations as needed.
- Pick and Pack orders per shipping procedures.
- Ensure that all necessary paperwork for each customer is up to date.
- Ensure that DEA license and state license on file are current.
Inventory Management
- Perform Cycle Counts and other required inventory.
- Maintain an accurate inventory and investigate discrepancies.
- Oversee inventory and receipt of Supply Chain Transfers.
- Prepare inventory reports as needed for DEA submission.
Other tasks
- Oversee and maintain accurate records and filing in accordance with DEA regulations.
- Maintain ARCOS in accordance with DEA regulations.
- Assist in DEA audits when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) years’ experience in quality control.
- Knowledge of DEA is considered an asset.
- High school diploma required.
- Excellent time management, organizational and problem solving skills.
- Detail oriented with a strong customer focus.
- Excellent communication skills required; fluent English (oral & written).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); Syspro/Vintara is an asset.
