Medical Assistant - Pediatric (Bilingual - Spanish)

A non-profit medical group serving the community is seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate bilingual Back Office Medical Assistant with Pediatrics experience.

The Medical Assistant is responsible for preparing exam rooms, rooming pediatric patients, and obtaining vital signs. Assist providers during exams and procedures, administer vaccines and medications, and perform point-of-care testing. Accurate documentation in the NextGen EHR system is required, including patient histories and visit notes. The role also involves providing patient and caregiver education on treatments, medications, and follow-up care in both English and Spanish.

Pay Rate:  $21.00/hr.
Shift: Monday - Friday / 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Location:  Los Angeles, CA  (East Hollywood)

Medical Assistant Back Office Job Requirements:
•    At least 1 year of back-office experience as a Medical Assistant, with a focus on Pediatrics
•    Bilingual in English and Spanish
•    Proficiency with NextGen EMR is strongly preferred
•    Experience administering vaccines and medications
•    Medical Assistant diploma or certificate from an accredited program
•    Current CPR/BLS certification
