Medical Assistant (Bilingual - Spanish)

A well-established Neurology Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join their neurology team.

The ideal candidate will assist neurologists and healthcare providers with patient examinations, neurological testing, and clinical procedures.  Obtain and document patient information, prepare patients for diagnostic testing, assist with clinical procedures, administer medications as permitted, and provide patient education. 

Pay Rate:  $21.00/hr.
Shift: Monday - Friday / 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Location:  Long Beach, CA

Medical Assistant Job Requirements:
•    Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a clinical setting; neurology experience preferred.
•    Knowledge of neurological terminology, procedures, and patient care protocols.
•    Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred.
•    High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
•    Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and standard Microsoft Office applications.
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care to patients with complex neurological conditions.
•    Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
