This is a full-time on-site role for a Hospice Nurse located in St. Louis, MO. The Hospice Nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients in a home care setting, focusing on palliative and end-of-life care. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering treatments, managing pain and other symptoms, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans. The role also requires establishing strong relationships with patients and families to ensure comfort and support during challenging times.
- Strong nursing and direct patient care experience
- Expertise in medicine and palliative care
- Proficiency in providing home care services with a compassionate approach
- Ability to assess patient needs and develop personalized care plans
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of hospice care regulations and best practices
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Missouri
- Previous hospice or home health care experience is preferred
- Current CPR certification
