Mechanical Engineer

Introduction:

The main function of a Mechanical Engineer is to research and investigate the design, functionality, and maintenance of mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes. A typical Mechanical Engineer has the ability to make engineering drawings and read and interpret blueprints. The position will involve lab testing of electric drive components and systems, including performance and durability testing, as well as failure/root cause investigation.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed inspections and root cause investigation into motor and generator failures.
• Inspections involve hands-on work, consisting of electrical checks, visual inspections, x-ray review, material and fluid analysis.

Education Requirements:

- Bachelor''s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering

Required Skills for the Mechanical Engineer:

• 1-2 years of experience
• Electrical testing experience, product development experience, failure analysis experience desired
