Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care tailored to individual needs, including assessments, treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure proper management of medical records, including updating charts and documenting procedures accurately.
- Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to assess patient conditions effectively.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license (RN or LPN/LVN) in accordance with state regulations.
- Proven experience in patient care within a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical records management.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and best practices for protecting patient privacy.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to handle medical documentation accurately and efficiently under pressure.
