STNA Job Specification:

Provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, and comfort, and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group or patients.

STNA Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Recording vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate;
• Providing routine individualized healthcare needs;
• Personal Care including bathing, dressing, mobility, incontinence care, feeding and other services;
• Follow facility procedures for admission, discharge and transfer of residents;
• Giving basic emotional and psychological support to the patient and family;
• Directly provide nursing or nursing-related service;
• Maintaining records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report;
• Perform other related activities as assigned or requested.

STNA, Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Must be a graduate of a State-approved STNA program;
• LTC or geriartric experience preferred
• State Testing Nurse’s Aide license in Ohio
