A TYPICAL DAY AS A LEAD GENERATION SPECIALIST
MIGHT INCLUDE
Prospect Research & Qualification: Review California employment litigation filings and government notices to identify potential business development opportunities. Research companies, verify information, classify cases, evaluate prospect fit, and ensure all opportunities meet firm criteria before entering the sales process.
Data Management & Quality Control: Maintain highly accurate prospect data across Excel spreadsheets, CRM systems, and internal databases. Review records for completeness, identify discrepancies, perform quality control checks, and ensure information is reliable and actionable.
Contact Research: Use tools such as LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Hunter, company websites, Secretary of State databases, and other research resources to identify decision-makers and gather accurate contact information for prospective clients.
CRM & Outbound Support: Compile and organize prospect information within HubSpot, prepare outbound campaign materials, troubleshoot mailing issues, create shipping labels, coordinate printing processes, and maintain accurate records within the firm’s systems.
Attorney & Business Development Support: Prepare pitch notes and background information for attorneys prior to business development meetings. Gather information regarding companies, opposing counsel, prior litigation history, and other relevant intelligence that helps support the firm’s outreach efforts.

EDUCATION / TRAINING
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, or relevant professional experience preferred
- Additional training in business administration, marketing, research, legal administration, or data management is a plus
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
Required Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Lead generation
- Data entry
- Administrative support
- CRM management
- Research
- Operations support
- Legal administration
Technical Skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, organizing, and managing large datasets
- Experience importing and exporting CSV files
- Strong understanding of spreadsheet quality control and data accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Teams, and Excel
- Experience working in HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM platforms preferred
Research & Analysis
- Ability to locate, verify, and organize information from multiple sources

We reasonably anticipate that the starting compensation range for this position will be $26.00 - $29.00 based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
