Join our Cooperative as the primary point of contact for our members. In this vital role, you will ensure a positive member experience by managing accounts, processing transactions, and supporting daily office operations in a fast-paced, professional environment.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Member Engagement: Act as the face of the Cooperative, assisting members via phone, email, and in person with a professional and helpful demeanor.
Account Management: Process service requests (connections, disconnects, meter changes) and maintain accurate digital records and Electric Service Agreements.
Financial Transactions: Securely process payments, manage and balance cash drawers, and prepare daily deposits.
Operational Support: Support administrative tasks including report compilation, easement recording, and inventory management.
Promotion: Educate members on available services, promotional programs, and account options.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications)
Education: High School Diploma or GED required (Associate's degree preferred).
Experience: 2 years in an office or customer service environment (or 2 years of college in lieu of experience).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and 10-key; experience with iVUE or CIS systems is a major plus.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication (especially under difficult circumstances), ability to prioritize changing workloads, and a strong team-player mindset.
Language: Bilingual skills are highly preferred.
Requirements
Safety & Training: Must maintain annual certifications in First-Aid, CPR, and Fire Extinguisher safety (training provided).
Mobility: Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License and be willing to travel within our 17-county service territory as needed.
Flexibility: Ability to work overtime during emergency conditions or as the job warrants.
