Part-Time Medical Biller - Receptionist
Medihealth Primary Care is seeking a part-time Medical Biller - Receptionist to join our growing primary care clinic. We are looking for someone with medical billing experience who is also comfortable assisting with front desk responsibilities.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, and enjoys working with patients in a team-oriented environment.
Position Details
- Part-time: 20–25 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Start time: 8:00 AM (half-day shifts)
- Potential to transition to full-time as clinic needs grow
- Rate: $16-$18 per hour depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Check patients in and out
- Schedule patient appointments
- Verify patient insurance eligibility
- Assist with medical billing tasks
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Help keep the provider’s schedule full
- Provide excellent patient service at the front desk
- Communicate with patients regarding appointments and insurance information
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures
- Assist in all areas of the office and outside of job description as requested by office management
Qualifications
- Medical billing experience required
- Experience with athenaCollector or athenaOne preferred
- Previous experience in a medical office or front desk role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Professional communication and patient service skills
- High level of integrity and strong work ethic
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Willing to learn and be trained

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
