Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC laser equipment and keep machines running efficiently throughout scheduled work hours.
- Set up jobs and materials in an efficient and organized manner.
- Verify job tickets, checklists, processing instructions, and production documentation before and during production runs.
- Maintain complete and accurate time documentation for all jobs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, drawings, and job packets for laser-cut components.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with print specifications and required tolerances.
- Utilize measuring instruments and gauges to verify product quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Troubleshoot machine, material, and production issues to identify root causes and implement corrective solutions.
- Communicate equipment problems and maintenance needs to the Production Manager.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and equipment upkeep.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work with quality, accuracy, and efficiency as top priorities.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and customer requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment.
- Experience with Trumpf laser systems strongly preferred.
- Manufacturing, metal fabrication, or sheet metal production experience.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and production documentation.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and climbing.
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely work in a manufacturing environment.
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Applicants will be expected to pass both written and hands on testing prior to employment.
