The Opportunity:
The Manager of Sales Development will be a high-energy, self-directed, and motivated individual to lead the development and growth of a new Business Development Representative (BDR) team within our Regional Sales organization. This role is responsible for building the team from the ground up, including hiring, training, and implementing processes that drive pipeline generation across multiple healthcare specialties. This role ensures effective development as professional B2B sales executives while growing them into Account Executives. The Manager of Sales Development & Pipeline will work closely with all Sales VPs to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and specialty-specific needs.
This position requires a dynamic leader with strong sales development expertise, a passion for coaching, and the ability to create scalable systems that deliver measurable results. This role will report directly to the Vice President of Sales, working closely with all VPs across the sales organization, and play a critical role in shaping the future of our outbound prospecting strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Team Building & Leadership: Hire, mentor, and develop a team of BDRs. Establish clear performance expectations, KPIs, and career progression paths.
- Strategy Development: Design and implement a comprehensive outbound prospecting strategy that aligns with the sales organization’s goals and specialty-specific priorities.
- Collaboration: Partner with Sales VPs, Sales Operations, and Marketing to ensure messaging consistency, campaign effectiveness, documentation, and alignment with target markets.
- Training & Coaching: Work with Learning & Development to deliver ongoing training and mentorship to enhance BDR skills in prospecting, lead qualification, and appointment setting.
- Process Optimization: Develop workflows, reporting structures, and best practices for lead management and CRM utilization (Salesforce or similar).
- Performance Management: Monitor team metrics, analyze pipeline contribution, and adjust strategies to meet or exceed goals.
- Cross-Functional Engagement: Participate in leadership meetings, provide feedback on market trends, and contribute to company lead initiatives.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- A minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, ideally as a BDR and outside B2B sales executive.
- Experience in in healthcare or staffing preferred.
- 2 years in a sales leadership or management role.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
