Medicus has an opportunity for a Family Medicine physician to assist a senior-focused health program providing comprehensive care for elderly patients.
This opportunity is located in eastern Virginia, with a focus on supporting seniors who prefer to remain in their homes and communities as an alternative to nursing home placement.
Opportunity Details :
- Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Call Shifts : Weeknights from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m.; weekend coverage from Friday at 5 p.m. to Monday at 8 a.m. (rotating every three weeks)
- Setting : Outpatient only
- Daily volume of patients varies
- Responsibilities : Complex Care / Internal Medicine, participation in interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings, & attend home / skilled nursing facility visits as needed
- EMR : EPIC
- Patient Population : Primarily elderly
- Paid travel, lodging, & expenses
