POSITION DESCRIPTION
Medicus Economics is seeking highly skilled and motivated full-time Analysts to work in Boston, MA, in a hybrid remote/in-person environment in our Seaport office.
Prerequisites include:
- Bachelor's degree; coursework in economics, mathematics, computer science, epidemiology or other quantitative fields preferred
- One year of relevant work experience preferred
- Familiarity with the healthcare system and clinical terms and concepts
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively (with teams typically 2-5 people in size)
- The ability to work on multiple complex assignments simultaneously
- Sustained attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Eagerness to learn quickly and produce high-quality work
Duties will involve contributing to all phases of project development, execution, and delivery, including:
- Exploring and analyzing healthcare data in MS Excel and other programs
- Collecting, summarizing, and evaluating information from clinical, policy and healthcare industry sources to help provide background and context for projects
- Drafting, editing, and proofing proposals, memos, reports, slide decks, visualizations, and other client deliverables
- Documenting and auditing analytic processes and deliverables
- Assisting senior staff with cultivating and developing client relationships
