Private practice seeks Board Certified Family Medicine physician to join their team. This is a 1099 position with a competitive hourly rate along with a percentage of collections.
The physician will work at both locations, which are conveniently located just 5 minutes from each other. All ages are seen, and the hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8am-8pm and Saturday / Sunday 10am-4pm. The practice is closed on all major holidays.
Physicians average 15-16 shifts per month, ensuring great patient care and satisfaction. The role offers a great work / life balance, with responsibilities including emergency care, on-site lab, IV fluids / medications, X-ray, ultrasound, occupational medicine, worker’s compensation, wellness screening, physical exams, vaccinations, and immunizations.
The staff includes emergency medicine physicians, paramedics, LPNs, MAs, X-ray technicians, and front desk clerical staff. If a patient needs to go to the hospital, they receive direct admission, and malpractice is covered.
This college town has excellent public schools, vibrant nightlife, and a rich art scene, making it one of the best cities to live in Florida.
