What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment & Rental Shop Technician position at Medico Construction Equipment, Inc.?
Medico Construction Equipment, Inc. is looking to add to our team at our Stroudsburg location.
Heavy Equipment & Rental Shop Technician:
- Possess an appropriate mechanic's tool set
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to build solid relationships with customers, team members, and supervisors
- Ensure work orders are completed accurately, by selecting appropriate course of action for repairs
- Evaluate completed work prior to release, seeking supervisor approval when required
- Prepare rental units for return to service, new and used units for sale/demo with a strong attention to detail
- Hydraulic, engine, and/or electrical diagnostic background a plus
- Active participation in safety and education training as required
- Salary commensurate with experience
