Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and submit electronic and paper claims to Medicare, Medi-Cal, and private insurances.
- Verify patient insurance coverage, eligibility, and authorizations.
- Follow up on unpaid claims, denials, and rejections to ensure timely resolution.
- Accurately post payments, adjustments, and reconcile accounts.
- Collaborate with providers, agencies, and QA teams to ensure compliance and documentation accuracy.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
- 1 years of medical billing experience (Home Health experience preferred).
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, and private insurance guidelines.
- Proficiency with EMR/medical billing software.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
