We are a primary care office seeking to hire a full or part-time medical assistant/medical secretary.
Salary to be determined based on experience.
No previous experience or training/certification as a medical assistant is required, but is recommended. We will train the right candidate.

Main Responsibilities
- Check-in and check-out patients at the front desk; includes verifying and updating patient information and insurance and collecting payment for services rendered.
- Schedule and remind patients of upcoming appointments.
- Answer and return calls in a timely manner.
- Assist with prior authorization and referral processes.
- Assist medical provider in the examination room; maintain cleanliness of rooms after each patient.
- Conduct clinical tasks; includes measuring and recording vital signs, documenting basic medical history, administering injections, EKGs and other procedures as needed.
- Backup other staff members as needed.
- Assist with tasks related to quality measures.
