Administrative Assistant
Location: North Canton, OH
Employment Type: Full-Time, In-Office (This is not a remote position.)
Starting Pay: $38,000 annually. Performance review after 90 days with the opportunity for a salary adjustment based on performance.
About the Position
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to support our Medicare retail office. This role is essential to keeping daily operations running smoothly while providing outstanding service to clients and supporting our Senior Practice Leader and Insurance Advisors.
The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced office environment.
The selected candidate will begin on August 10 and participate in approximately two weeks of internal training to become familiar with our systems, processes, and client service standards.
Responsibilities
- Open and prepare the office each morning.
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally and assist clients with their needs.
- Return voicemail messages within established timeframes.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail.
- Maintain office supplies, Medicare materials, and lobby refreshments.
- Monitor copier supplies and notify management of equipment issues.
- Keep common office areas clean and organized.
- Assist with Medicare and insurance claim tracking and follow-up.
- Support office staff with administrative tasks and client communications.
- Maintain confidentiality of company information and client records.
- Follow office procedures and company policies to ensure efficient daily operations.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative assistant or office management experience is required.
- Experience working with CRM software is required.
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Canva and similar design or marketing platforms is highly desired.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- This is an in-office position and is not eligible for remote or hybrid work.
