Certified Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician or trainee to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support pharmacy operations by accurately preparing medications, assisting with patient care, and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. This is part time position but will average at around 29 hrs

Duties

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and pharmacy protocols
• Assist pharmacists with medication administration
• Manage medication intake processes, ensuring proper documentation and patient records
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person
• Support medication inventory management, including restocking and cleaning shelves
• Must have a car and be willing to do occasional deliveries directly to patients homes
• Must be able to work as a team........getting along with the staff and being polite and friendly to all customers.
• This is a family owned business. Job duties will include occasional cleaning of floors, shelves as we do not have a specialized cleaning staff. (this is not an inclusive list)

Skills

• Proven experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably with retail experience
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws.
• Experience with RX30 computer system is a bonus
• Courteous telephone manners
• Ability to run a cash register and handle cash/check/credit card transactions
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Knowledge of pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is required; ongoing CE training required per state laws

Store Hours are Monday thru Friday 9am-6pm. Saturdays are 9am-1pm and closed on Sundays and major holidays.

Pay: $15.50 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22.0 – 38.0 per week
