Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Vascular Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will hold RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) certification and have experience performing diagnostic vascular and cardiac ultrasound studies. This position plays a vital role in assisting providers with accurate diagnoses and delivering exceptional patient care. The location for this will be based out of the Hurst, TX office but may require travel to the Plano and Dallas, TX offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality vascular and/or cardiac ultrasound exams, including arterial, venous, carotid, and echocardiography studies
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment in accordance with protocols and safety standards
- Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring comfort and safety
- Record and analyze test results for physician interpretation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure continuity of patient care
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in EMR systems
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and all compliance standards
Qualifications
- Required Certification: RVS or RCS
- Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program
- Minimum 5 year of experience in vascular or cardiac ultrasound preferred.
- Clinic or out-patient experience.
- Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic procedures
- Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
