What are the responsibilities and job description for the TRANSPORTER | RADIOLOGY position at MEDICAL WEST HOSPITAL AUTHORITY?
Transports patients from room to Imaging Services. Assists technologists with elderly patients during exam.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Knows and assist in supporting the philosophy policies, and procedures and objectives of Imaging Services and the Hospital.
- Cooperates with other personnel to provide excellent quality service to the patient.
- Exhibits patience and tolerance for patients and employees especially in stressful situations.
- Transport patients to and from Imaging Services.
- Transports patients as needed to and from the Dialysis Unit as instructed.
- Transports patients as needed from patient registration to nursing units as instructed.
High School diploma or GED required; One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. BCLS required.
