Summary
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at Westchester Diet . In this role, you will provide essential medical administrative support and assist in patient care, contributing to our mission of promoting health and wellness. This position is based in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare provider with patient examinations and procedures.
- Record vital signs and patient medical histories accurately.
- Administer medications as directed by physician.
- Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments effectively.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Provide education to patients regarding diet plans and health management.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Tuesday & Thursday- flexible hours (10AM-7PM)
- Every Friday & Saturday is a MUST 10AM-5PM
- Bilingual is a MUST!! Spanish speaking
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Ability to take vital signs and perform basic clinical tasks.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
