Position Summary
A Calibration Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, precision, and reliability of our customers’ laboratory equipment. This position performs on-site and in-lab service, with all work and documentation completed in accordance with established procedures to ensure precision, reliability, and repeatability. Technicians contribute to a culture of quality, excellence, and continuous improvement.
Job Description
- Drive to customer labs and perform onsite pipette service, repair, and calibration
- Use precision tools and follow strict quality standards
- Communicate with lab staff and provide exceptional service
- Work independently in the field while maintaining a strong team mindset
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth scheduling and consistent communication
- Document results and maintain accurate records
- Lift up to 20lbs and walk moderate distances between parking and lab sites
Skills & Experience
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Strong follow-through and reliability
- Great communication and people skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office / Google Docs
- Lab experience a plus — but we’ll train the right person
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable with small tools
- Able to think analytically and troubleshoot issues independently
