Licensed Optician
Cetechs is seeking a Licensed Optician or ABO-Certified Optician to support the Department of Veterans Affairs by providing optical services to veteran patients.
The Optician will assist with eyewear dispensing, measurements, adjustments, and patient education in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
· Fit and dispense prescription eyewear
· Measure pupillary distance and segment height
· Assist patients with frame selection
· Verify prescription specifications
· Perform minor eyeglass repairs and adjustments
· Document patient care in VA electronic health records
· Maintain compliance with VA and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
· State Licensed Optician or ABO Certification
· Experience in optical dispensing
· Excellent customer service skills
· Ability to work in a healthcare environment
· Ability to obtain VA background clearance
