Join a Growing, High-Volume Neurosurgery Team in South Florida
An established and highly respected private neurosurgery practice in South Florida is seeking two Physician Assistants to support continued growth and increasing patient demand. The practice consists of seven neurosurgeons and two Physician Assistants and provides comprehensive neurosurgical care throughout Palm Beach County from offices in Palm Beach Gardens and Delray Beach.
The first position is primarily clinic-based with surgical first-assist responsibilities. The Physician Assistant will see patients in both the Palm Beach Gardens and Delray Beach offices and assist in neurosurgical procedures as needed. The practice is seeking a candidate with strong neurosurgical and/or spine surgery experience who is comfortable managing patients independently in the outpatient setting while also contributing in the operating room.
The second position offers a blend of outpatient and inpatient neurosurgical care. Approximately half of the time will be spent in the outpatient clinic in Palm Beach Gardens, with the remainder dedicated to hospital-based patient management, rounding, and surgical first-assist responsibilities. The group is looking for a Physician Assistant with at least one year of neurosurgical or spine experience who is comfortable caring for patients across the continuum of care.
Both positions include one weekend of coverage per month, with compensatory time off provided during that week.
The practice is led by a team of board-certified neurosurgeons and fellowship-trained specialists who provide care for a broad range of neurological and spinal conditions, including brain tumors, degenerative spine disease, neck and back pain, movement disorders, and other complex neurosurgical conditions. The group also offers advanced treatment options, including High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) for the treatment of Parkinson's disease and essential tremor.
The practice offers a competitive compensation package that includes health insurance, professional liability coverage, hospital dues, CME allowance, occupational license reimbursement, and an excellent retirement plan. Paid time off includes 80 hours annually after the first year, along with an additional 40 hours dedicated to CME activities.
